The distinctive Jacqueline Marie Collection of fashion accessories was created by Jacqueline Marie Gilbertson, a former marketing executive with an eye for the unusual.

Jacqueline Marie?s affinity with the uncommon began at an early age with her training in classical ballet at the National Academy of Dance. Continuing to enjoy varied artistic pursuits throughout her life, she has studied at the École du Louvre in Paris, the Lorenzo di Medici School in Florence as well as Sotheby?s and the National Academy of Fine Arts in New York City.

Jacqueline Marie has held several corporate positions; however, it was her role as Senior Vice President of the International Division at Fred Hayman Beverly Hills that left an indelible impression on her fashion aesthetic.  There she worked directly with Mr. Hayman, the former Fashion Coordinator for the Academy Awards.

Jacqueline Marie received her Bachelor of Science degree in multi-lingual studies at the University of Wisconsin where she was awarded a Fulbright teaching scholarship in France and membership to Phi Beta Kappa. She went on to earn an MBA in international business from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
